The presets used in "Sonnydeluxe - Fields Of Glory - The Last Battle Of General Podolski".

This is a set of presets used to produce the song 235 for the One Synth Challenge competition [OSC 52]. Production notes are in a text file inside the zip: some of them may not make much sense without some additional EQ or reverb.

Some of them are quite raw and unpolished, but I hope they will sometime prove useful.

Note: As I did not keep a strict evidence of patches at the moment of composing, some of these might be closer or further derivations of presets bundled with the synthesizer. I apologize if that happens.

Here is 239 presets for one of the best free VSTi's that is available in 2013. I produce EDM myself and this bank reflects my taste. The sounds consist mostly of fast and agressive bass and leads, but even some pads and fx can be found among them.

A word of warning: I was using unison mode quite heavily when making this bank, so don't look all that surprised if your computer can't handle some of the sounds. It's a very CPU intensive synth after all.

EX800 factory bank (with sequencer demo data) in FXB format for VSTizer EX800

These mappings are for the Casavant Freres Pipe Organ #619, located at St. Andrew's Lutheran Latvian Church in Toronto. It was originally built in the late 1800s, refurbished in 1915, and in 2004 it was outfitted with a MIDI controller by Classic Organ works. These mappings provide control of the 'stops', complete with names. Could be adapted to other organs.

These mappings don't change any of the MIDI data, but they allow you to use the real names of the instruments in xlnaudio's Addictive Drums VST, when used in FL Studio for example. Thanks to jbyrnes237.

All 64 factory patches from the Original Jupiter 8.

Unfortunately not all parts of the Jupiter 8V are 100 percent the same as the Jupiter 8. Especially the Random LFO and the Cross Modulation seems a bit off, so some of the more advanced sounds using these functions I just couldn't get right.

Anyway. I have been using the Roland Jupiter-8 Factory patch sheets.pdf for visual reference, and sound clips of the real Jupiter 8 from synthmania.com to compare the sounds. Some of the patches are based on patches originally made by pedrosura from the Arturia Forums, so thanks for those.

All patches are clean, with no internal effects added. Add your own! I recommend the free TAL-Chorus-LX. The perfect chorus for this synth.

Trance pad for the vocal trance song I Can Fly. I dont recall which factory patch I started editing with. It was one of the arpegiated ones though. Not a pad. In the song some of the synth effect is created by running more notes than are allowed in the voicing for a cutting off effect.

This is a harp type synth with heavy bass in the lower octaves, I think its pretty playable and nice sounding... It doesn't have any processing done to it, just some CV routing to muck up the sound a bit... please let me know what you think!

One of my most used tools in my music is the trancegate effect. I simply love it because it's great for quick inspiration for lazy people like myself.
I found myself a bit disappointed that Studio One X-Trem that comes with so few presets. This is exactly the reason why I was decided to spend a few hours and program some of my own.

This bank has a total of 155 presets. Many of the classic rhythms are included. I don't have time to figure out how to name these so most of them are just numbered instead.

My memory is not so good, so there might be some duplicates.

This is 5 MS20 sounds that would fit well in aggressive music.

The sounds are loud and aggressive, noisy yet playable and musical ;)

A funk bass for MuLab. It's a mix of two audio sources:
1. A filtered waveform-based oscillator for the basic bass sound
2. A sample player for the slap sound
The slap noise will only be heard in the upper velocity range and is slightly randomized in sensitivity and pitch. You can switch off the slap sound by turning down it's volume.

I wanted to make another dedicated VST template for a great free VST, the Synth1. You can easily find it online and it is a fabulous VAS based on the architecture of the Nord Lead 2 by Ichiro Toda. The VST is also recently available for Mac, though I'm not sure where the ccm settings file would go on Mac. Unzip and make sure to place the ccm file in the Synth1 settings folder. Load up Synth1, click on the Opts button and under the MIDI tab, load the Synth1 file (LeSynth1.ccm). Everything (except poly voices selector-not available for remote control) will be adjustable from dials/switches on your screen with the notable exception that you will have to expand the LFO window to reach all LFO parameters. You can set the Midi Channel for this template. All objects are additionally set to Parent Midi so if you want to set this to a Midi output from Lemur different than MIDI 0, click on the Parent object/Midi Settings in the editor and change it to whatever MIDI out you have set up. Playing my flute I noticed that if you press the keys really hard, they produce a percussive sound. I sampled these sounds chromatically, the release sounds of the keys as well. There's a volume knob for the release sounds too. Have fun

It's probably no secret that ElectraX is one of my most favorite synthesizers. I don't know any free banks for this synth so I had to put my fresh bank here. It's total of 155 patches of many types. I mostly write EDM and this bank reflects my taste. But I don't want to put it into any category. Just experiment and use it as you see fit. My only hope is that you enjoy it. According to KVR members request, Sound Magic has built 6 presets for users to use in different style of music.These presets are for Windows 32Bit VSTi Version 1.3 only now.

This is my second bank for synth1. It took me about 20 hours to finish it. I am not too good on making patch names, so try to bear with me as I did my best.

Most of the sounds use modwheel, so remember to try it out. Sometimes the effect is subtle and sometimes it does more.
All sounds have a pitchbend range of +-12 notes because I think it's most useful for fx sounds.

There are total of 128 sounds in this bank. Most of them are twisted effects and dark atmospheres. There is a few lead sounds too as I could not resist making them.

One important thing I should also mention is that some patches may have a wrong root note. There are plenty of sounds that are not useful for making melodies. So remember that it's an fx bank, everything that might be musical is just an result of good luck :)

I wish you enjoy playing with these sounds as much as I did making them. Feedback is welcome.

This presets has 3 pianos, all of them are emulated vintage pianos, which often have a mellower sound than current pianos. So this made it ideal for soft and relax music styles. Please note you need Piano One Windows Version 1.3 to use this preset
