We specialize in creative audio software and forward-thinking sound design for music production, games, and multimedia.

Glitchmachines was established in 2005 by sound designer and electronic musician Ivo Ivanov. The company was initially established as a platform to showcase Ivo's hand painted circuit bent instruments.

Ivo has built custom instruments for some of the biggest names in the business, including Trent Reznor, Derrick Carter, Kero, Otto Von Schirach, Richard Devine and Justin Meldal-Johnsen to name a few. Limited edition instruments were also made available through boutique retailers Robotspeak and Analogue Haven in California.

In 2010, Glitchmachines was commissioned to design custom sounds and presets for the sampler instrument Vortex, by Twisted Tools. We moved on to work on a total of 8 Twisted Tools products. Among these are our electronic drum kit collection Micro Kits 02, and our full Glitchmachines sound library, Elements.

In 2012, we teamed up with the plugin developer Inear Display, to create assets and GUI enhancements for their exciting range of plugins including Bucephal, Eurydice, Gorgon, and R_Mem.
