im having troubles updating my spectral plugins.
the update announcement said that the plugins could be updated via the new demo versions. so i downloaded the demos vst and dx) and installed them. however, it would appear that they neither replaced the original files nor did they update them. so now i've got my working original versions, and demo versions of 1.5. i cant figure out how to enter my unlock code for the demo's either. i wasnt asked for it at install and i dont seem to have that option from my hosts either. (logic and sound forge.) has anyone here done this successfully? what am i doing wrong? thankfully my origial files still work but its annoying not being able to figure out how to get them updated. thanks for the help, -ugo

I can understand ugo's confusion: the email I got said Sound Designers plugins update via demo download from our site For other plugins update please email us. That kind of implies the demos upgrade the full versions, which I tried, and it seemed ugo did as well.... I presume ugo was just checking he/she'd done the right thing, which is sensible I guess...
