On the visual treand that seems to be going around... is there an VST plugin that can control AVS. I don't just mean taking in stereo and making visuals like winamp does but one that actually has all the parameters contolable via vst parametrs, or can rout several audio ins to several different parameters.
if not I think someone could do one pretty easily either using Jitter (soon for windows) I can't find any AVS source code but some similar projects can be found here http://www.winamp.com/nsdn/vault/vis.jhtml If you don't know what I'm talking about, open Winamp then under teh window's menu open visualization studio and find the AVS editor. Se how you can add tasks from teh '+' button? Each task has it's own set of parameters. I'd like a version that works in Console, Buzz, Plouge, EngeryXT, etc. That is a VST and accepts many inputs. All of these inputs can be mapped to specific parameter or task in the AVS editor (instead of one stereo pair controling the whole thing like it does in winamp). Infact it would be better if you could hook up these tasks in a signal flow web like the above mentioned vst hosts. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'd like to be able to capture Winamp visuals, turn them into full screen video files, add music, burn them to a vcd,pop them into my dvd player, kick back in my easy chair and trip out on the music and visuals.Possible?

I'm sure that's possible. YOu need a video capture driver and rout the avs to it, record. Pop that into a sequencer like vegas or what ever, add your tunes and burn with Nero to dvd.
Not really what I was getting at all though. I'm think more like a midi controled light show but a midi/audio controlled avs instead. |
