AuthorTopic: E-Phonic LOFI | announcement !

Hi,

You may have wondered, has E-Phonic stopped making plugins?!
Well, the answere is NO!

I've been exploring the VST SDK the last couple of months and figured it 'all' out.

I'm proud Embarassed to announce my very first C++ coded VST plugin called LOFI.
It's designed to screw up almost every kind of sound.
Specially drums are cool to destroy with LOFI.

Features are:
- Downscaler (pitch shifting)
- Resampler/Crusher
- Resonant LP BP HP filter
- Waveshaper/Distorter with 6 shapes.

This all will be available for FREE as it is my first VST effect.
When?!
I hope to finish it in about a week, then i will put up a beta version.

Screenshot (current unfinished state)

Regards,
PJ

WOO HOO

Looks great, e-phonic! And if it sounds as good as that old beta you won't let people play with anymore, it'll be awesome!

I love your VSTis. Any chance we'll be getting a new C++ Drumatic?

Also, kinda off topic, but Solostring crashes pretty often in a couple of hosts I use. You have any other reports of that? I love the sound of it.

VC++ Academic version.

Hmm that should be a lot of work.... Maybe separate modules.
Like a bassdum, snaredrum or clap module.

Nice looking plug!
There are a lot of free crushers/maglers out there, but they often lack several features to shape the sound. Yours looks like it's got the works... Cool

Lookin forward! Very Happy

Buzz and Psycle are the two that I get crashes in. It totally bums me out, as it's my favorite free guitar.

I'll try Aodix if I get the chance. I could always to the guitar parts in there and export as wav.

I was just curious if I was the only one having trouble.

Looking forward to this one.
Post that sucker as soon as you're done.

You wouldn't happen to post any source of that too, would you ?

Another great tool from you!! Features seem very very nice indeed!
PS. I love drumatic, it's perfect. This new FX is going to be a good companion for it, I think...
