I'm trying to find a really good VST flanger. I can't seem to find one that really adds some white noise and sounds like a jet engine. What's the most WHOOSH-y flanger plug-in you know of?

Hmm, they don't get much more whooshy than classic flanger, sounds like Boss HF-2!

Nice... it's funny, a Boss flanger is the exact sound I was looking for... Thanks!

My favorite is the PS-1 that comes with the simuanalog? guitar suite plugins. Sounds great with a clean or slighty overdriven guitar. But maybe a little weak for some other things.

In that case, you should definitely look at Kjaerhus Audio's Classic Flanger --- many people have associated its sound to the old Boss flanger.

Another vote for Classic Flanger. Excellent for getting the Curve/cocteau Twins/Cure sound (or any band begining with 'C')
Best flange ive seen | ||||

I like it a lot too--works great on a drumloop.

Classic Flanger ... has to be tried.
And it's free for the present. |
