Check the bottom...

Now that is a damn good move by digidesign to allow it to occur and a great move by fxpansion...

We'll see.So far no word from AES yet.I do know there's a Re-Wire host for VSTi's for RTAS in the works, but I'm not sure about a plugin wrapper though. One of the Digi reps thinks it is(wrapper),but isn't sure.Personally I doubt very seriously we'll see a plugin wrapper for VST to RTAS,but we will see the FXpansion VSTi synth rack for RTAS for sure.Until we see an AES announcement or hear it from Angus we won't know.

Hmmmm...could be a godsend, but I'm guessing there will be considerable limitations like very basic automation, modest 'recall' implementation, if any (i.e. having to manually load all your patches everytime you open a song), etc.

Not to mention bugs, bugs, bugs...but hey, here's hoping for the best. Smile

After I posted after any announcement fom Angus(for the record Rolling Eyes ).Anyway, this is good news for PTLE users and if they get their ASIO act together with the 002,that will be a viable option for those who wish to run PTLE alongside Sonar/Cubase/Nuendo/Samplitude ect.,but on the other hand,I guess Digi can shit-can all those extra TDM cards that'll be gathering dust in favor of UAD/TC and VST native.I mean, they gotta know what their getting into here.
