Hi ppl!

Noizware is happy to announce the release of
its first vst plugin TriDirt v1.0.

TriDirt is 3-band distortion VST plugin for PC,
with 7 different waveshapers, adjustable crossover
frequencies and post filtering.

It's free and you can download it here
http://www.noizware.com/software.htm

We would be glad to know your opinion, and of course
any recomendations for future updates.

Thanks,
pough

Pretty cool. Sounds dirty. I with there was an envelope somewhere on the filter though. Maybe one that follows the in signal.

That sounds interesting for a following major update,
which for sure will have an improved post filter
section. Thanks for the recomendation.

That's ok. Tridist is already in my plugin folder. Great plugin - kinda like QuadraFuzz, but the different distortion characters are cool. Great for some tasty squelch or dust.

Forever,

Kim.

Nice! You can never have too many distortion plug-ins. This sounds a bit like the Boss HM2 on some settings, which is cool by me! Any plans for some kind of cab simulation at all?

very powerful and fun to play with

i'd suggest a toggle selector instead of a knob for distortion type, but that's a minor point

if you like complex distortion you'll like this

Actually TriDirt is a waveshaping distortion,
it does not emulate analog gear or acoustic
structures. Anyway, internal processing is
done at 64bit for more accuracy.

Future updates will for sure have an improved filter
section, with various filter types and optional
crossover linking. It will also have an oversampling
option for even better alias-free sound, and
probably more distortion types.

PS: i would be glad to listen to your creations
using TriDirt so contact me if you feel like.

The future evolutions sound good, but you'd better keep it a simple as possible, that's how distortion is meant to be: plug the damn thing, and turn the big button 'till it's dirty enough!

Well...

Thank you!

A very usable sound with just the right amount of controls.

Looking forward to your future releases.
