AuthorTopic: Izotope, what next?

I'm itching to find out what Izotope are up to at the moment. I have Ozone and Trash, both of which I consider to be the best parts of my DAW. Unfortunately, Spectron is too much for my system (1 GHz, 512MB ram!)
I just wish they would make VST versions of these.
However, whatever they do is brilliant so what now?

As far as VST versions, they've been looking into it - I'm not sure if they've decided to do it yet or not. I'll let you guys know if I hear something though Smile

Can't agree enough about Ozone: it's the fun you get to have after a track is finally finished. I got Cool Edit Pro just to run it. But it'd be great to run it in Tracktion as a VST too. It's a great program AND a great teaching tool... Cool

here's a reply that i've got from izotope, and it sounds damn cool:

Hi there,

Appreciate the suggestion and understand what you mean. Can't offer anything right now, but it's a great idea as a lot more people are using Ozone
as track effects on individual instruments (in addition to mastering with it)

We'll see what we can do along those lines in the next update....again, thanks for taking the time to send us the email. It's always great to hear what
people want.

so, we can hope that next version of ozone will have more features for enhancing one track only + (old) mastering for whole mix

Now I'm patiently waiting for them to make that PhotonTV a DXi plug that can be controlled from within Sonar Very Happy

(And make that "surround" button do something usefull...support DVD burning...and support video clips)

I think I own almost all the plugs from that company and they are all essential components in my setup.
