I'm itching to find out what Izotope are up to at the moment. I have Ozone and Trash, both of which I consider to be the best parts of my DAW. Unfortunately, Spectron is too much for my system (1 GHz, 512MB ram!)
I just wish they would make VST versions of these. However, whatever they do is brilliant so what now?

As far as VST versions, they've been looking into it - I'm not sure if they've decided to do it yet or not. I'll let you guys know if I hear something though

Can't agree enough about Ozone: it's the fun you get to have after a track is finally finished. I got Cool Edit Pro just to run it. But it'd be great to run it in Tracktion as a VST too. It's a great program AND a great teaching tool...

here's a reply that i've got from izotope, and it sounds damn cool:
so, we can hope that next version of ozone will have more features for enhancing one track only + (old) mastering for whole mix

Now I'm patiently waiting for them to make that PhotonTV a DXi plug that can be controlled from within Sonar (And make that "surround" button do something usefull...support DVD burning...and support video clips) I think I own almost all the plugs from that company and they are all essential components in my setup. |
