Anyone know of a good flanger plugin especially for percussion preferably vst but dirext x is ok. cpu hogs welcome.

also, looking for a nice chorus plugin to fatten up some synth lines. again looking for it in vst format.

i usually make idm, glitchy, breakcore songs if that helps with suggestions

although the section on chorus was helpful, i only saw 1 flanger/phaser plugin. also, the plugin needs to have the ability to automate it in cubase.

It's all about the classic series (and the GMO-1 if you're willing to spend a small amount of cash) IMO. Until they came out I was very hard pressed to find any modulation plugin that sounded even reasonably impressive (some mediocre ones, but no "Wow" effects). Then the Classic Series came out and I finally said "Wow." I used to record my guitar with stomboxes for mod effects on, because I didn't have any plug-ins that came anywhere near them in quality, now I shut them off, and apply the classic series afterwards, because it sounds amazing, and it's a lot more flexible.

The modulation effects that come with your Luna are some of its best plug-ins. Have you tried the Hexa Chorus, Harmonic Flanger, or Resonator that come in the Effects Package II yet?

I agree with Torben et al. re: the Classic Series Flanger. It has a great analog sound. Reminds me of my vintage MXR Flanger. Great for that late 70s/early 80s analog flanger sound.
