I'm looking for a plugin (or alternatively a straightforward technique) to add crackles to a soundtrack - imagine the kind of racket a battered old 78 would make & you've got the idea. Is there a VST/DXi plugin which does this?

There is also the free ConcreteFX plugin called Lowbit which can do this.
