KANTOS PATCHES from TIM

Hi All

Guess I'm on a roll here. This is a bit more specialized, butI have been working with Antares Kantos, with Tracktion as host, which allowed me to play Kantos in real time with my Guitar as input device. This things turns into a fantastic Guitar synthisiser and no special pickups needed!

Kantos is unique in that it's not really an effect, and it's not really an instrument: it BOTH!

So I created a bank of 20 patches in FXP format. Download them below.

These sounds are meant to be used with a guitar as input device, although a VSTi with a simple saw tooth wave and no modulation can also be used with good results. These patches are for using Kantos as a synthisiser and not as an effects generator.

While some may balk at the GUI, I love it! It looks like it's from another planet, which is OK by me ( since I am too Smile

For more information visit the Kantos page at Antares:

You can also download a functional 30 day demo.

MERRY CHRISTMAS! ( I keep on saying that..but it's a good thing Smile

so no one uses Kantos? usually a "Tim-patche" thread would create much interest. I did try the demo once when they had their 50% off sale and I must admit i had alot of stability and denormal issues with it. I use Alien solo form the cloneEnsemble group and it is a cheapo same idea type thingy as kantos. Tim, feel free to create some presets for Alien Solo Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy
