Hi there,
a few weeks ago I posted the beta status of GM weekly Ok girls and boys. Here is the last beta of GreenMachine Amp II http://www.greenmachine.opuscases.de/html/version_ii.html "Last" do not mean "latest". It will be the last beta release... after that: R1.0! If you had any requests in the past, please give it a try and drop me a note... Patrick

Is there any way of changing the presets by midi program change numbers.
I've been looking to use my laptop live for ages with an amp sim that responds to prog number changes for presets but to no avail

Hello !
Does this means that Green Machine will not be free with the version 1.0 ? If this is the case I'm really sorry to not have downloaded the previous free beta versions. And the last one is time limited !

I gotta say man. I've only heard it through me lappys speakers since I dont have an interface yet but I think this may be THE it for me as a standard amp sim.
I got the same sound I used to out of my Fender M-80 amp. and the vintage distortions and the like, seriously, this is very reinspiring for me to get back to being more guitar oriented. This is great! I'm scared it will be under or overpriced. The only thing I think needs work, that is obvious is the wah. Good job and thank you:)

Works fine with Chainer as host and my old GFX-8 as midi control Patrick

Hey Padrake, how are you doing that? How do you change the presets in chainer via PC messages? I thought it might be the case in Console too but I can't work it out.
I've posted another thread 'Amp Sim Live' trying to find an answer and it seems a lot of people are trying to find a similar answer. Thanks in anticipation Jas

I don't know about Chainer or Console, but it's really a breeze to switch between presets with GreenMachine. Depending on your Midi-Controller all you have to do is hit Step-Up or Step-Down or alternatively set the Program Change Number. A no-brainer really.

Few thoughts.
To my ears it sounds very boxy; not that boxiness is a big no-no, but it does limit the use of the plug to occasions when you want a boxy sound. I like the GUI though and I'm sure I'd use it for particular sounds. Cheers! |
