Hi again
seems like I cannot keep my promises http://www.ijdata.com/bodilizer.html The downloadable demo is fully functional but the output is truncated to 12bits resolution. Regards Ingemar

Nice work to you and Multree. And I must say that the idea of a 12-bit demo is a great one - no awful noises or 30 day limit, but certainly not high-quality sound either.

YES, YES Ingemar! Yes! I am so proud of you! I was really bummed out that you were giving up on this project. Your plugin is so original and so useful! It gives new life to Acoustic guitar samples ( and my violin! ), and there is nothing else like it on the market. WOOHOO!!!!!!!! This is great news!!!!! By the way, on KVR, the price still says $35.00 ( quick effects link at the top> bodilizer ) PS: How about that GUI but made with wood? Is that one available for download? Multree made it already... I'll download this when I get home... Congrats Multree! One of your GUI's did finally make it into a plugin

Hi
The lower price USD35/EUR30 still holds, but the offer will end June 15, after this the price will be USD100/EUR90. Yea!, the GUI really rocks, I was not anywhere close with my efforts, I will stick to signal processing in the future. BTW, there is a small high frequency noise bug in ver 1.03 that is now fixed, I did not hear the precense of it (only saw it in the WaveLab spectrum analyser) but some of you golden ears may hear it, anyway this is fixed. Hi and hats down, I went to check out the demos on your we site and it's quite impressing stuff. I think the guys over at line6 use the exact same approach with the variax electric and also acoustic. But how the hell could you maesure the guitar body transfer function!?!
Or dit you actually model it using another approach than sampling? And by the way, there is a sample named McDO_guitar_bodiliezr_chorus_full.mp3 and man this sounds so great I'd really love to hear the full song!!!
| multree | Posted: 5th June 2004 10:15 | |
and how nicely it looks* together with Tracktion and btw.... you can use it on miced acoustics, too.... I tend to play the main rythm guitar twice and pan it to the left and to the right, now if you put the BodiLizer on one of them you can get super nice tones - even out of a acoustic guitar you recorded with a microphone.. good job Ingemar cheers, mully *disclaimer: I may be biased but don't know why exactly

Wow! It's great to see you back ingamar! Fuck those hackers man! Definitely be picking up a copy sooner or later.
| PeterL | Posted: 6th June 2004 22:31 | |
I will buy it sooner Just sent an E-Mail for info. Ingemar, don't get frustrated about hackers. I think there are still some serious people who will buy and people who'll never ever surf on crack sites. Continue selling. You can't loose anything if you still offer you product, can you ?

Bodilizer = sterile guitar into warm acoustic body.
The only thing it lacks is a temperature gauge and a fretboard sweat option I'd like to know more about the science behind Bz's sound. Anyone? Ingemar?
| dusted william | Posted: 19th June 2004 17:36 | |
Not sure about science, but if kev says it's good and it's about guitar's then, it's worth a look at least. -dw

12 bit, hmmm i wonder how it sounds on drums
| kevvvvv | Posted: 19th June 2004 23:23 | |
I tried it on a moog lead synth sound last night.
Didn't make much difference.

any chance on extending this a bit? For all the people like me who just found out about it yesterday. BTW there is a nice mention at traxmusic.org about this plug in in the Real Guitar review. Infact that is where my interest got sparked. I was recording acoustic with a little mic pickup and is sounds like shit. If this makes it better I'm all for it. thanks, dw |
