Hi

Can any one suggest a VST plug in part from QuadraFuzz to use on a turkish drum sample.

I'm looking for frequency and filter control.

Cheers

We can probably suggest tons of things, but can you give us a better idea of what you actually want done to the sample.

'Frequency and filter control' is a bit vague unfortunately, and could suggest a variety of things...

Hey, the guy just want a good filter, right?

Some people are raving about Shareman filterbank right now. Give it a shot.
Also, buy Computer music magazine (£5). They have one called Ohmygod which is great.

The Sherman Filterbank is tasty indeed. (Although its creator is responsible for the Belgian Nu Beat genre. Rolling Eyes) I've been wanting to get one for a while now. Maybe I need to make a disciplined effort to save for one. I'd run everything through it if I had one. If you watch the videos on their website you'll want one immediately.

Ohmygod is nice too. Run a Linn snare sample through its comb filter and, voila!, instant Kraftwerk.
