We have updated the Classic Delay and the following features has been included:
1. Better control over the Time Signature by individual Numerator and Denominator adjustment. 2. Low-cut filter added. This version is NOT compatible with the first version, as we had to add three new parameters. Incompatible service updates is not something we want to repeat, but in this case it was necessary. As the first version has only been released three days ago I do not expect too many to be troubled by this, but we are sorry for any inconveniences. Enjoy the new features. Thanks Torben

Thanks for that! It was already a smashing delay before this update!
Yeah! | ||||

Thank you a lot for this great delay, it is superb.
BTW, some information on your site about Classic delay isn't displayed properly on my browser (Mozilla); the copyright text interferes with the feature list in a strange way, maybe your web designer made some errors here. This, of course, doesnt make the delay any worse Thanks again, Richard

Cool!
Low-cut rounds this out perfectly! Forever, Kim.

Pressing the button has no effect - but choosing the ping pong preset works, and unselecting ping ping mode from the ping pong preset makes the delay only work in the left channel. Luckily, I hardly ever use ping pong delays, so it's not a big deal for me. I guess others might feel differently though. Flutter is cool! Forever, Kim.

Yes it does! Use the pan knob to send the sound towards one of the channels /Torben

Aww cool! Thanks! That's especially cool because it allows me to control the "width" of the pingpong, AND the "starting side" of the echo! Seriously, this delay epitomises the Classic series - It's everything I need in a regular delay plugin, in a format that's easy to get great results! I don't use any of your other plugins (I've got Quantum-FX and Ambience, so I'm pretty much covered for regular stuff, and your Gold series are a bit too pricy and "boutique" for my tastes), but this delay's such a great design... I might just have to treat myself to some Gold! Forever, Kim.

Nice and FAST update Torben, the entire VST community owes you greatly IMO. Within a year or so you've released some amazing free bread and butter plug-ins, while your commercial plug-ins take these so much further. Now when people come round here asking where they can get some good free bread and butter plugs all we have to do is direct them to your site, where you can get all the bread and butter they'd like and then expand it with the phenomal Golden Series. Thanks a lot Torben. Look forward to whatever is in the pipeline next, and I'll be sure to review the Golden/Classic series plugs within the next few days, and recomend everyone here do the same.

Torbin,
I love it, and I'll be using it as part of my standard rack now. Thanks a million

Nice update. The new sync delay interface is much nicer than before, and the low-cut is a generous addition.
A few months ago I searched around for a simple, free, delay plugin useful for both mono and stereo content. I didn't find anything - but now there certainly is a very good solution with this plug.

Time setting now works great and low cut is sweeeet, which means this will be from now on my default VST delay! Btw., what will be the next plugin in golden series?

I too, would like to add my thanks. I have many commercial products (including some of yours). Your classic series is just that! Thanks for the hard work and good plugs.
Take Care | ||||

Great work once again Torben....I've got a large collection of vintage analog hardware effects and
once again you've captured that magic!! They sound fantastic on guitar....now if there was just a Classic distortion(amp sim) and envelope follower/filter(like an old MuTron!), I'd have a dream rig!! The Classic series would likely be my "desert island" choice!! ThanXX Again!! Cheers......CL

No, there wont be any more incompatible updates
It a secret Thanks Torben

The Classic series are amazing plugins - definitely some of my most used plugins.
| astanine | Posted: 26th July 2004 03:28 | |||
just to say thanks, this is now my favourite delay.
| boin | Posted: 27th July 2004 09:09 | |||
Just wanted to give it a try and ended up with a new song using four of them! Very, very musical and sweet. Congratulations, Torben, another winner!

I also must chime in and say I've only had the Classic plugs about a little over a week now, but I love the Delay! |
