...for VAZ Modular (or Reaktor, which is the same in terms of function and layout of the FX). It also features filtering and delaying of gated snippets.
@patcharena greets, r_module -------- I just do it to keep my stalkers busy...

That's really considerate of you to take the time to outline all that, especially with all the constant requests (myself included) for such devices...
I wish it was in Reaktor so I could bend my head around it a bit easier, but I'll take a stab in the light of day when I'm not shitfaced... Is it just me, or does the Vaz developer come across as a serious Miami Dolphin's fan?? Thanks, man!

I'll see if I do another version with Reaktor-snapshots (but not today). It's dead easy when you know the principle. r_module

A retard like me would be very happy to see that. Especially in non-Dolphin colors..I'm from Miami & the Dolphins make me wanna puke.. ![]()

okay, another basic version for Reaktor:
1) open a "new ensemble" 2) open the instrument (structure) 3) detach the inputs (L+R) to have a better overview (you'll connect them later) 4) your preliminary shopping list (just drop them into the structure): - "add"-module (math) to sum the input - "multiply"-module (math) to modulate the input audio with the envelope - "adsr"-envelope to smooth and control the gate snippets (macros->building blocks->envelopes->...) - multimode-filter (macros->building blocks->envelopes->filter->special->...) - "mono-delay" (macros->classic modular->delays->...) as sequencer use "drumpattern" (instruments->sequencer) and rip the unwanted tracks (open its structure, red marked modules/s. pic). 5) wire the modules (you may want to clear your panel also as it's painful to do it when you have dropped 40 modules or more) 6) activate some pattern-steps (sequencer) and adjust the envelope. you can also tweak the delay to get a first impression how the signal is treated. 7) now it's time for a lfo to modulate the filter (macros->building blocks->lfo->event->clock sync->...) connect it to the pm-input of the filter and watch the display showing the lfo modulations to fade between the dry and gated fx-signal (for additions on padsounds, vocals etc.). to do so just right-click the x-input and select "create control". now wire the L+R inputs to the crossfade-module and you're done. further tweaks... as your basic signal chain is set up, you can easily add/exchange modules to your needs. plus there are much more modulation targets like the adsr-values, the filtertype, delaytime, etc.. you may also want a host-synced clock... ens-file
