Do you know of an audio plugin/effect to use with an electric guitar through audio monitoring to give synth type effects?
I tried Alien Solo (vocal synth) as suggested by someone and it sounds great!?!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated,

assuming you want some plug that plays incomming audio as synth sounds there are a few of those.

Alien Solo sounds great if you are into synthesizing your electric guitar (or vocal). Of course, this works fine on your incoming audio with most things but not always successfully with an electric guitar.
