AuthorTopic: anyone using Antares Filter??

Hi.. all.

I'm currently using PSP nitro.

I played with Antares Filter few times now (DEMO)
and it is quite good.

main thing that interested me was the Rhythm Generator.
that feature is not offered by PSP and ohmforce.
and I really need that feature.

I have also checked out Quad Frohmage but it sounded too
strong for my taste.

so my question is do I really need another filter?

If you are a filter fanatic, you surely want it.

(I personally am not convinced by the quality of the filter algos in Antares filter. There are some strange behaviours to me...)

But if you use such effects merely seldom, I think the Nitro is quite enought.

If You want the sequencer tool you probably have to buy the Antares Filter.

(BTW: I know, that there is at least one brand new stereo VST filter effect for Windows underway (by a new company), which also has the feature of an inbuilt parameter sequencer and a freely drawable LFO (Freeformer) section.) Wink
