AuthorTopic: EMT 140 Plate announced

UA announced today at AES a new plugin for the UAD-1, an EMT 140 plate reverb! I can't wait to try this out, and the GUI looks really nice. EMT Plates make me moist. Finally I can stop using impulse-responses, this thing should put them to shame.

Hmmm...interesting. Reverbs were the main thing that always tempted me with a DSP card. Then along came SIR and then the Princeton thing, and it became less of an issue. Then the nice comps attracted me, then comps like GCO1 come along in VST format. Now UA release an EMT plugin!

Life is such a dilemma sometimes.

I find it difficult getting moist nowadays - too many choices to distract me. Or perhaps my prostate finally packed up and went senile?

If this sounds good I think it will really improve the value of a UAD-1 card.

As a laptop user, I have to wonder if there will ever be a UAD-1 firewire version....
