...according to Harmony Central; out by the end of the year. And Cycling '74 has changed its website and added VST compatibility to the features.

Well, it was news to me. I think. Intepret my earlier post simply as an expression of my delight. Instead. And, uh, thanks for the links.

Cheers, I'm a longtime Pluggo user and I didn't know about the Windows port either. I hope you Windows users enjoy it. There's a few Pluggos (especially the third-party freebees) that I tend to use on just about everything and there's many, many more that I haven't even figured out. I only hope that if Pluggo catches-on for Windows that there aren't compatibility issues with the Win/Mac versions of the third-party Pluggos.

As far as I can recall, Max/MSP for windows uses Pace. Any ideas on what copy protection scheme Pluggo will use?

Is PACE challenge-response? The Mac version does something like that. If I remember correctly, the install generates a number that gets sent to HQ who provide a response code. It's all automatic - pretty quick and painless I think. I don't remember having any problems. It also runs in demo mode for a grace period I think too... I'll be going through another install this weekend so if you really want to know, I'll post back after I'm done.
