open the audio track in an editor, reverse it, apply delay & reverse it again.

You're so full of it Seriously though, the beauty of doing that way is it gives you access to ANY vst or DX delay plug..There's dozens & dozens of them just in Reaktor alone..each with different characteristics.. | ||||

if you glue an analogue clockface to the front of your PC, you can turn the hands backwards with your finger whilst a track is playing to create the same effect. if you have ink on the back of the hands, you leave a trail as the hands go round and you get a reverb effect.
try experimenting with different length arms and having different patterns on the tips. | ||||

Another good reverse effect is my wife in her car. She reverses, and the effect is everyone within 500 yards scatters. Kind of a granular people effect. | ||||
