Since when is there a guitar sound involved? Rolling Eyes\

edit: Oh, you mean a Fender (twin reverb) blackface as opposed to the ones with silver cloth on the front! Tried the 1969 Fender Twin Reverb sim packed with Guitar Suite? Its free...

also, the revalver twin is pretty decent (although I tend to use the guitar suite rednef twin). sometimes I also use SIR with POD impulses - not good for realtime playing but decent for post processing.

How about you:

#1: Go to my forum and post a mp3 clip of the particular sound you want (you have to register, 2MB max)

#2: Post a clean clip of your guitar

#3: Wait a few hours while i play with all my amp sims - it's a pure pleasure for me !
HiHi Wink Cool

#4: Download the result and the fxb's.

My Johnson Jstation has a nice blackface sound to it. I recently picked mine up for 100 bucks on ebay...

Hehehe - my old guitar died on me about 1 week ago, so i'm afraid if you don't post a clip of your rhodes ,i cant come up with anything until i can buy a new 7 string for which i'm saving money right now.

Hello wsaidah, Is that how Ray Charles got that sound, Rhodes through a Fender blackface? After seeing the movie "RAY" I'm intrigued about what he did. I have some Rhodes vsti's (or vstii? plural?) but didn't know what else he did to get that huge sound. I'm curious. Very Happy Very Happy Thanks for any advice.

I would guess he just used a suitcase piano, which Im sure was similar to a blackface in its innards...
