I am wanting to use the Stand-Alone version and I see there is a ASIO.dll driver included in the download but where/how should I install it so that eXT can see it?

Best... Scott

If you unzip sa.zip it should be exactly where it needs to be. If that didn't work, create a "driver" folder and in that folder an "audio" folder and put ASIO.dll in there.

For example, my setup has
c:\Program Files\energyXT\standalone.exe
c:\Program Files\energyXT\KvR.gui Wink
c:\Program Files\energyXT\driver\audio\ASIO.dll

Thanks P,
Great new skins btw...

Yep, that's where the driver is but XT doesn't recognize it so I reckon my sound card isn't ASIO capable?

I was wanting to try the tutorial here:

Try a search for ASIO4ALL...a generic asio driver that will work with most cards.

Thanks! Wow, I feel Embarassed. I can't believe how long I thought my system was screwy....All it took was a couple of new folders and moving asio.dll to get sa working.

Well better late than never I guess.

Which begs the question...

Why does the ASIO.dll have to be in ./driver/audio when it's the only driver (though I remember one other in the early days) and there is only one driver - for audio? HiHi
