AuthorTopic: Bug - Midi Part in Seq

Place a midi part in the sequencer. Now edit the midi part. In the midi editor choose 'New' from the 'Part' menu. You get an exception. I'm not sure what the intended behavior is in this situation, but throwing an exception is probably not it.

it's always done this...I don't think your suppose to add new parts to the MidiParts inside the sequencer like you can with the standard MidiPart component. I think this is just left over from jorgen reusing some of the same code to get the sequencer together. You'll notice that in the sequencers parts you can enable the "Transporter" from the 'File' menu, but it's empty. Perhaps jorgen has plans for these menu items in the future...'Delete' will cause an error also. Maybe a dialog box should popup with an explanation instead of an error when we do these and other things, like try to record midi while a "Folder Track" is selected Razz

yep, the editor is used by both the sequencer and the midi part comp, so there's a few issues related to this. Will clean up!

thanks for reminding me Cool
