AuthorTopic: dumbass question (please humour me) ...

when using the sequencer comp how do i scroll down the piano-roll (ie - if i can see c4 and want to enter notes down at c1 or wherever) ???

the midipart comp has a scrollbar for this ...

... is there any way to do it other than enter step-record mode and use the arrow keys to nudge the view down ???

if not - can i make this a feature request (even a draggable keyboard section like tracktion) ???

hi pHz,

right click and drag should do the job.

also you can double click on the trackname part (left of the mini vertical keyboard) and it will reduce the view so it's no longer editable in place but if you then double click on the part it will open it in the usual midi part view. you can also minimize the parts by pressing H for an even more compact view of the sequencer's arrangement.

cheers,

inigo

double-clicking left from the piano-roll (on the track lane) minimizes the track (so that the piano-roll is minimized as well).
now double-click on the minimized piano-roll , and *woops* there opens a midi part version of the piano roll.
