I know there are a ton of nifty features in the pipeline already, but I was wondering about the feasiblity of adding ReWire support (master/slave)?

Why would you need it ? Just curious...

Hey Red_Force! Glad to see you on the eXT bandwagon For me, I use Ableton Live and there currently is no easy way to get VSTi's "into" it. You can use eXT as a "VST" effect, but there's no way to record that audio in a channel. If eXT was a Rewire slave, you could just plug it in on the channel and record away! /drez

ive been using the freeze feature in the sequencer ... just drop the frozen loops into live and bobs yer uncle, i could live without rewire this way as long as the sync to master is sorted out

I agree. Since Muzys has "died" I've been looking for something to rewire into Live as a slave. EXT would fit that bill very well. Bidule works this way, but is far behind EXT in other (important) areas. Sitll, using EXT as an effect just doesn't cut it...

What about using midixt ( I think it's called). Isn't there a way of using vsti's in a Live track with that program and Energy XT? Please email me at ditroiamusic@msn.com if you know. Thank you. |
