now when i make a midi part in energyxt inside audiomulch, i switch the sound off audiomulch before pressing play on the midi part in energyxt ... then i press play on audio mulch and the midi part starts from zero every time in perfect tempo sync with mulch !!!! ... brilliant thats ALL i wanted
if i can afford to pay the shareware on mulch this month before it runs out again i will certainly pay for xt next, it makes the perfect combination thanks so much grainger

grainger: Which version of AudioMulch did you use and do you care to describe how you did it? Did it sync automaticly?
Does anybody know if this feature is supposed to be a part of the latest beta (i.e if it should be able to sync to the midi clock of any vst-host, such as Cubase?) Regards, Tomas

Well, judging by grainger's post he can only be using AudioMulch 0.9b15, and not the earlier beta, as shareware Mulch expires if not registered. So do I and I can tell you that it DOES sync if you follow grainger's steps--but only the first time you start it. Afterwards EXT and Mulch live their own lives.

hi
yes its the current beta version of mulch. as jazz franco says it works the first time, if you raise or lower the tempo in mulch energy xt stays in sync with that. it must be getting the tempo information ok, but it doesnt update the tempo information in the synchroniser BUT when you stop mulch energy xt keeps going, so you have to stop the midi part in ext, switch the sound off on mulch, also possibly stop the synchroniser in energy xt. then you can start it all again and its all in sync again the only real difference with this beta of ext is probably that when you stop the midi parts they go back to the beginning, so you can keep starting it all off from scratch. but thats all i needed ive been playing with it all night and it seems pretty stable cheers grainger
