AuthorTopic: Bug: Freeze when syncing impOSCar to external clock.

Heh, I'm getting better and better at this beta testing business it seems Wink.

Anyway...

Tested version: Beta 23-may-2004, VSTi mode under Cubase SX2.

Problem description:
eXT freezes itself and Cubase, forcing termination of Cubase, when running GMedia impOSCar. This occurs when switching from internal to external clock sync (the little button by the arpeggiator knob Wink) in impOSCar. The problem becomes apparent when sound is cut and nothing responds after you try to cut any wiring to or from impOSCar. When testing in standalone version of eXT the problem does not appear, and neither in earlier beta versions.

Redundant problem reproduction Wink:
- Start eXT as VSTi in Cubase SX2.
- Import impOSCar into eXT (Wiring: master in -> midi in, audio out -> master out).
- Start playing.
- While doing this, push clock sync button i impOSCar, switching to external sync.
- Observe how sound is stopped.
- Observe how eXT is frozen but Cubase is still workable. Windows can still be opened/closed.
- Cut midi-in to impOSCar.
- Observe how everything freezes.

Best regards,
Tomas

Actually, the external sync option is missing (!) in the may 24th beta, which makes it hard to try. However, the problem doesn't appear in version 1.25 released may 25th, so I hope everything is fine now and this doesn't appear in future versions Smile.

Thanks!
