AuthorTopic: Audio part question/bug?

Hi jorgen,

Thanks for 1.25. Is there a limit to the total amount of "audio" I can load into an audio part. I'm working with about 2 minutes of vocal that I have cut into 12 sections loaded into individual parts to meet the 32 beat max. When I try to save from either the audio part or the main window I'm getting this error code 0000165E?

Thanks,

Trevor

Hi, weird, I didn't think there should be a limit. The Audio Part comp loads samples in ram though, maybe you should try do the same in the sequencer comp instead? Audio tracks in the sequencer streams samples from disk...saving ram and also disk space when you save...

I should make this optional in the Audio Part too.

Hi,

I tried loading the clips in one at a time then saving and the first 4 were fine then I get the " exception at 0000165E " message trying to save the 5th? It's not a major issue I just thought it would be cool to be able to trigger the vocal parts individually. There's no problem loading into the sequencer comp.

I have been using EnergyXT within Tracktion, but it's nice to be able to complete a track in the stand alone.

Thanks

Trevor
