AuthorTopic: Delete pitch bend data?
MRT
Posted: 1st June 2004 16:46
OK here are some dumb questions.

1)Is there a way to view pitch bend data in the midi part edit window? Can it be displayed along the time line like CC data, or just in the event window?

2)Is there an easy way to select all pitch bend data only or any CC# and delete just the selected events?

3)What is the preferred method to insert pitch bend data in a previously recoreded track?

4)Is it possible to change the font color in the event list or is it just the default black?

Thanks
MRT

1) AFAIK, the Controller view is only for CC numbers, so Pitch Bend cannot be seen there.

2) use Ctrl-click the events in the Event List to select them then press the Delete key.

4) currently the font colour in the Event list is not changeable, it is not linked to either lb-font-col or gr-col_data in the GUI Editor (Jorgen - any chance of this being added (while you are making the Event List editable, of course! Wink ).

Selected events are a different colour. You can adjsut the backgorund to the Event List (it is gr-background in the Grid section of the GUI Editor, but check to see what else changes)

PS I really like the GUI Editor, when I get stuck with "the real work", a quick fine-tuning of the GUI works wonders and releases my mental block.

[Edit - to fix typos]

Simon I, Thanks for the "control-click" tip. I was thinking it would be "shift" like selecting mulitple notes.
