Hi

I wanted to use FLstudio for live, but cant because audio tracks (audio clips) use all the ram i have (it doesnt free the ram after it has been streamed from hd).
I wonder if i can use EXT as replacement.
I want to be able to load all my tracks (as wav (or maybe ogg or mp3), sequence them..., but it has to STREAM FROM HD.
Thats about 10*60mb of audio data.
I also want to be ablt to start to play at the middle of an audio clip (so it doesnt have to work from a midi triger, like a sampler (halion or so).

Many thanks.

I think you can do it with the sequencer comp...i don't know if audio part comp is streamed from HD or loaded in Ram..would be cool if this is an option..

The Sequencer inside XT streams from disk, not RAM.

...the AudioPart loads into memory, but the sequencer streams it's audio tracks from disk...try again. Razz

easymode, add a sequencer comp and then add an audio track from the Track menu. Right-click audio track (in part view) and select 'Insert sample' or simple drag and drop from explorer.

Samples are streamed from disk. (the audio part comp loads into ram, sequencer streams from disk).

You can start playback in the middle of samples...

cheers
