Hello,
i notice lots of samples/kits are outputted so loud from the default DR008 settings that there is serious audio clipping due to the audio output being over 0dB ... is there a reason for this? maybe a -x dB pad setting in the preferences could help here? thanx, Olaf

This has been noted, but we are not really developing DR-008 much further (one more small update, and that's most likely it)... Drum Nine has a global volume control, so it's not a problem there.

that's not something you communicate on your product-info webpage.... so this means i have bought and "end of the line" product with no bugfixes anymore?

It's not end-of-line, it's evolving in to Drum Nine (which is, effectively, DR-008 v2.0 - there will be an upgrade path, it's just the name that's changed).
As to bug fixes... there are really very few bugs remaining in DR-008, and the v1.21 update will address those.

ok...i hope that version 1.21 will also enable me to do multiple files drag&drop from the build-in browser....nudge nudge wink wink

Sorry, the Windows tree control we use in DR-008 does not allow for that |
