I am able to run the DR008 1.20 as an RTAS plug under PTLE 6.1.1 on WinXP but I have not been able to get the ReWire version to work. It will open but when it loads a kit the names of the instruments are all transparent and it does not seem to respond to either direct mouse clicking or via MIDI. Any ideas? Need more info about my system and this problem? Thanks.

I have a problem too with Rewire and Sonar XL 2.2. I know, I know, I don't need Rewire because I can run in Dx or VST but it seems to be a bug anyway.

First, I configure the Rewire applet and then start Sonar and put a DR008 "Rewire" in the Synth Rack. But there's no DR008 window appearing and when I try to close DR008, Sonar quit responding and I must hit the power swith to reboot. Everything was fine with the 1.19 version.

I just bought dr008 with version 1.20 but I also downloaded the 1.19 version after I started having problems. ReWire with version 1.19 also seems to work with Pro Tools here as well. Maybe that fact will help Angus track down a cause. Thanks for the reply.

yup, it doesnt even show up as a rewire device in Traktion anymore. 1.19 was fine.

Are you aware of this problem with ReWire hosts or is it not a widespread thing? I am currently using DR008 as an RTAS plug but I would much rather use the ReWire version. Thanks.

If you have a the time, could you please detail the steps for running the DR008 as a Rewire client under Pro Tools? I wonder if I am just not doing something right. I did have it running okay while using 1.19 and I tried running 1.20 and 1.21 the same way without luck. Thanks.
