AuthorTopic: Fruity newbie question

I've been playing with the Fruity demo a few days now - its changed a hell of a lot since I last tried it. I can't remember what version it was but I recall hating having to do everything by the grid/pattern input approach. My music rarely has a beat and I prefer to play free flow and just record one layer at a time. Well I'm pleased you seem to be able to do this now but I still can't seem to get it to respond to things like the Modwheel and sustain pedal on my keyboard.

Also, just for fun, I recall there being a nice lightshow sort of effect that made some cool effects when you played - have they ditched that to make it look more pro?

you have to use the link to controller feature, on a fruity native generator like the sampler or 3osc just right click on the parameter and click "link to controller" on a vsti or vst effect you have to click on the plug icon on the upper left corner of the vsti/vst's window and go to link to controller from there.

if you haven't messed with fruity in a while you should be able to keep yourself busy for a few days checking out new stuff, good luck....

Hi. Why it's been removed i don't know but i've read that a better one will replace it in a "future" update. Not 100% sure of that though.
