AuthorTopic: AU's in Cubase SX on Panther?

It seems like the new IAC midi drivers in Panther make it possible to send midi from Cubase SX to an AU host like Rax and bring back the audio to SX with Jack. Has anybody running SX on Panther tried this?

I guess even better would be to use something like GarageBand (it’s an AU host isn’t it?) where you can send both audio through AU FX and midi to AU instruments.

Yes, works fine. You can also use a very simple AU host like Rax too...

Enjoy!

can someone please explain how to set this up?
i'm not on panther yet, but this may be worth the switch (is sx stable enough yet?)
also, can you send automation from sx into an AUi in Rex?

thanks in advance, d
