I have a song I needed to speed up... but I ran into a problem with the tempo... I was at 285... then went to 295... wasn't quite enough... so I wanted to goto 305... BUT.. stupid cubase seems to not want to go past 300bpm... I know I could go back to half the bpm at 150.. but then I'd have to go back and redo all the midi and all kinds of stuff...

anyone have any ideas?? Help

Shit! Faster than 300? Shit! I don't think I wanna know. Wink I beleive you select the arrow opject at the top and select Timing Applies Time Stretch, change your tempo, and then compress it by dragging it to half, it might work? No promises, but give it a shot. Also, consider doing actual BPM, or otherwise you're the most insane fast player I know of. Wink

Work your song at half the BPM and double the beats in the metronome... Wink

Tempo of +300? That's crazy. But if you need to switch the tempo to 150 in order to have enough speed than you can use the timestreatch tool ( on the puldown menu on the arrow). The one that says movement applies timestratch.
So slow down the tempo, use the timestreatch tool and shorten the midi tracks by 50%. That should do it. Than you can cranck up your tempo all you want. Again Smile
