For some reason my 1/16th note quantize function has disappeared in Cubase SX. Perhaps it has something to do with me deleting it.. Surely I won't have to reload Cubase to get it back........does anyone know how I can get it back? dano

What's reloading going to hurt? If you're that concerned, copy the whole Steinberg directory over to somewhere else, and do a reload. Should take 2 minutes, if that.

My experience? The quick way is just restoring. Devon

Well, arent you the guy that found a workaround, involving linking up 3 PC's, to fix a cpu problem that wasnt even there ? Buying, and installing a Powercore or UAD-1 can be done in little more than half an hour...... Sorry. couldn't help it....

I'll tell you a secret :
The reason I advocate so heavily for Powercore AND UAD-1 is that I want more people to buy them, so programmers can see a business in making great plug-ins for them. Even though I'm very satisfied with the plugs that I got with them, I would be a dissapointed if development of new stuff stopped. That's the selfish angle..... But you're right. I know absolutely zip about the processes inside of these monsters. And I'm quite ok with that.... EGGzz

I'm all for DSP power myself, owning a Pulsar II for almost 3 years now. Even my article over on Trax Music pushes the same angle, instead of buying a new computer. BTW - my main purpose for the other machines is using Gigastudio. Devon |
