AuthorTopic: Bidule and ASIO question

Hi All,
I've just set up a dedicated test PC and was hoping to use Bidule for hosting/trying out VSTs.

I'm using the Audigy 1 with KX drivers and so far have been able to audition various bidule modules (what a cool app!), but for the life of me, can't seem to figure out how to set up the audio device as ASIO. When I choose the ASIO (duplex) option, it brings up an input and an output module, that you can apparently connect to each other but not to other modules (unless I'm missing something). The MME device was easy, with both ins and outs, but I'm getting something like 121 ms output latency! According to the KX ASIO setting, I should be able to get down to 5.3ms, but I can't even see how to connect the ASIO module to do it.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Tobias,

Your example made it clear! I tried it and my latency dropped to 5.3ms. Thanks so much. Very Happy

By the way, I did read the faq and the tutorial, but was confused by the duplex input module which I had no use for since I'm using a midi keyboard. It didn't occur to me to just leave it disconnected, which, of course, was the answer. Embarassed

Cheers,
JD
