Hi Spectro
It all depends on your soundcard. What card are you using?

i've got a ship card, creative soundblaster 1024, and when i play with standalone pro52, trying to record what u hear with the creative recorder , he says that the something is busy, ms00004 or something like that
if i had 2 soundblaster or other could i do it?

thanks a lot for the links but i 've some apps like cubase & others, i want to use only in standalone because it's more intuitive with my rm1x playing back
i do synchro as well in cubase, recording is a matter but it's boring to have to open cubase all time

hey spectro u def don't need 2 soundblasters to do this! the message means probablly that pro 52 or whatever it using the 'recording driver' already. simply go sysystem>audio settings> and make sure nothing is selected as 'inport' then try it again. if no workie have a general check of your driver situation. u should only be able to have only 1 device recording or using the rec driver at a time but 2 or more can play at one time.
i think with MS soundrecorder u only get 60sec file so try a simple freeware audio editor 4 yer recording like this one http://www.sonicspot.com/audacity/audacity.html

Hi Spectro...
What you are trying to do is not possible without the help of some type of virtual software audio-patchbay. There is NO way to tell one software to output to another software's input. What you need is a program called VAC. It is an application that allows you to patch different applications audio output path to other applications audio input path. Thus giving you the ability to record the output of Pro52 (or any othe software) into an application like Creative's recorder or even Windows Recorder. You can find out more about this program and also find a demo download at: www.ntonyx.com/vac.html peace.
