AuthorTopic: Absynth as gone nuts!

My Absynth has gone AWOL! I started up cubase today and low and behold... none of my abbsynt sounds are working... WHen I bring up the absynth engine, all the preset boxes are blank, and I get a little message box pop up that says "bad preset number, error: -577237" So i click ok, and another pop up comes up that says "file error: -666" This looks really REALLY bad to me. Is there anyway to fix this? I dont want to erase absynth because I will lose all the presets I made myself. The weird thing is, this has happened right after I downloaded Brian Clevingers new patch of 'usefull noises'. My music computer isnt generally even attached to the internet so I didnt get a virus form anywhere else. Also, the only preset bunch which seems to be fully unuseable is the 'Pads' preset group which is where I keep all my own presets as well, and this is the only group into which I copied any of Brians 'useful noises' PLEASE help me as I am in the middle of a project and need my absynth! Thank you !

cheers, did u try the awesome [absynth forum]
at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/absynth-users/

However, i do remember someone there a while back had a similar oddity going on. I also remember Brian fixed it personally. Just talk to him there, he'll probably know what is running havoc.

BTW, i havent installed that patch yet - but i verymuch doubt that its fuxors. Must be something with yer setup.

cheers
