I really like the sound and look of absynth, it looks just right.
I dont want Reaktor too much dicking around, and the only reason I would want it would be to run Dash's stuff (maybe we will get a good dynamo soon). So is this a Mac only forever ? Has anybody heard or have NI made any comments regading PC version and date ? Is absynth so unmodulary programmed that a PC version is difficult to port ? This absynth looks just the balance for people who dont want the complexity or time commitment of Reaktor. Reaktor is a cool product, its just too much hassle for some of us. Bluey.

Hi,
Brian works on an absynth port, but it's too early to say anything about a release-date (for sure not this year). Bye, Steffen

On the Cakewalk users site NI confirmed a Windows/DXi version was in the works (and I'm sure that includes Windows VSTi as well) the interview is at: http://cakewalk.free.fr/articlesnieng.htm
