As far as hardware goes, M-Audio has always been great to me.

I'll second Rich from Sonic Syndicate (Orion Pro) and Rene' from RGC (Pentagon I, etc.), and add Peter from LinPlug (CronoX, RMIII, Etc.) and Dr. Sync (SynC Modular).

I've seen incredible response times and great suggestions/explanations from each of these guys.

Never met a VSTi developer who didn't try and help.

They're all good.

G-Media (M-Tron) and Richard Hoffman (Sonic Syndicate Orion) have been top customer service candidates, followed by any who contribute to this forum.

H Cheers!

Forgot to mention ... they're all crap when they go on holiday, get sick, attend funerals, flake with exhaustion after getting the next beta out

Rene at rgcAudio, Jason, Dave and Chris at GMedia/GForce, and Angus at FXPansion: all great guys who respond quickly to issues and really care about the products they make.

These are the sort of people who make the whole online software experience so worthwhile.

Anyone who listed Steinberg for an award can't be living in the UK, Arbiter get my worst support award for the sixth year on the trot.

You are the weakest link, goodbye.

ReFX is very fast in answering, and also Muon Software, I've experienced them both.
One of the worst is, sadly NI, a long time before getting an answer...

The good Dr Sync, without doubt. The man is -always- assisting on the Sync Modular mailing list.

Rich @ Sonic Syndicate - fantastic support, really unparalleled.

Dave @ Muon - great guy, very honest and generous with his time.

Peter @ LinPlug - same as above.

I have had so many pleasant customer support experiences with so many of these small companies and direct response from the developers that it is truly hard to rank anyone. The above just stood out to me as outstanding. Cheers to all!

Wrong "Jason": I was talking about Jason (along with Dave and Chris) from GMedia/GForce, who make the M-Tron...not jjasonsynth. Sorry about the confusion!
