Hello DMANX
I presume because you are using Reaktor stand alone you are using it with one of the ensembles that has a built in sequencer and trying to export 1 bar of that by using the recorder box that floats about in the Reaktor window if it is enabled in the Reaktor menu bar. Click the red folder icon in the recorder box (top left) select a directory and type in a name for the file to be recorded and click save, click the next icon (pointing finger) select clock start and put what you want in start offset, I don't understand the 'record stop by 'part of this as if you make a selection here it deselects what you put in 'record start by' click 'OK' click on the red record button and you should see that it lights up along with the pause button, now when you click on the sequencer play button at the top of reaktor it will take the pause of the sequence will start and so will record . I don't know how you will get exactly one bar but to stop click stop icon (next to play) at the top of Reaktor and click stop on the recorder box and you should find the recorded file in the directory you selected. If it is more than 1 bar you can load it in Cubase and trim some of. Probably a better way is to open Reaktor in Cubase as a VSTi select a midi track to output to Reaktor, set Cubase left and right locaters to the one bar you want , go to file in Cubase and select export\audio tracks , choose the directory you want to save to, type a name for the file and click 'create file' and the file will record. By the way you can play Reaktor sequencers inside Cubase just load them as VSTi and click play on Cubase transport bar and Reaktor sequencer will sync to Cubase clock. Regards Raven |
