Hi all
I challenged Pentagon 1 on percussion sounds: oh my! here you can download 5 hi quality mp3s, http://digilander.iol.it/luisi/pentagonlinks.htm 5 loops I rendered with Cubase, no other effect just pure Pentagon 1 sound. enjoy (thanks to rgcAudio for hosting my files)

excellent work. I've been trying to get that singing bell sound for awhile, I can't get the attack right. Anyhow, maybe you can post the patches?

thanks sj_digriz ,
yes soon I'll add some patch files to the page, btw the "singing bell" is done with 2 OSCs fixed pitch in FM and random pitch modulation, envelope is piano like

Neat patches. Be great to have a tweak of them.
Tonight I ran up finger picking guitar and plucked bass, aiming for a natural sound. Sort of ridiculous on a super fat cosmic synth like P1 ... but why not I'll send the patches along to Rene. btw Have you tried the new bank b yet? Plain Melody is one of the most beautiful haunting synth sounds I have ever heard. Could be a tear-jerker ... and all on one oscillator.

cheers kevvvvv
I agree with you: why not? P1 sounds great in many ways I'm playing bank b when I'm not so excited in making my sounds (!) yes I like Plain Melody in the high range, so sweet |
