I just got an email form Software Technology, the makers of VAZ+ and VAZ modular, announcing the release of VAZ 2001, which will exist as stand-alone, VSTi, or DXi.
I cannot give more information because the info I received are intended for registered user only and there are no links to an official web page right now...
However, I try to summarize here:

-16 synths with up to 16 voices each
-it is possible to use samples modules
-can be played through MIDI, VSti or DXi standards
-QWERTY keyboard support
-new processing system reduces CPU usage
-Live audio input!
-Internal 16 step sequencer
-internal 16:2 mixer
-Dedicated effects(reverb, autpan, phaser, flanger, chorus...)

and many other features

I think this looks promising. Out in november...
Special price for registered users. wow!
