Hi,

Imho Gigastudio is still superior to Halion.
Though i expect some spectecular updates from the steinberg-boys, this will stay so for the coming time.
Your wish to use GigaSampler within the cubase mixer is only possible if you use for instance a Pulsar, where you can route the GigaStudio-outs back to Cubase.
If working within Cubase is your wish, go for Halion.
Maybe SampleTank or Vsampler are worth taking a peek at aswell.

Grtz,

Yogi

Its also possible to route giga in cubase, if you own an egosys soundcard (waverterminal)
by using the gigawire function.........
It is supported in the new EWDM driver for Win 98Se
