AuthorTopic: Alpha testers needed

Olla everybody,

if you don't have a Wavestation (best would be SR or EX) you can stop reading. For everybody else : I need people willing to alpha-test my next VSTi. There will be a very rude GUI where you can import sys-ex files from the wavestation. You would compare the imported files with a real wavestation and when/if you found a discrepancy you would find out what it is (LFO timings, ADSR timings etc.) and send a short bug-report back to me.

The alpha-test program will start in approximatly two weeks.

Any takers? Please only Wavestation owners for now. The first beta with a real GUI will be for more people.

Impressive project.

Wish I had a Wavestation and I could join in.

Any clues as to the final price when it all works out?

It will only be available on CD (with box and printed manual) and will be around $99.

On on CD - bugger.

No issue with the price, but is it going to be a fairly simple exercise to get it sent to Australia?

Don't have a Wavestation unfortunately so I'll have to wait eagerly for the release.

Good luck Michael.

Australia is no problem. You just have to wait a few days until it arrives via air-mail. You'll probably have to pay $8-$10 more for the post & package. Time will tell. Perhaps I'll find a distributer who is willing to ship it worldwide?
