I just got an email from Peter @ Linplug that Beta6 of daOrgan has a Leslie! Just getting it now, and I'll try it out tonight. I think the final version will be out in a week or two.

It's nice! I got a great Vox Continental sound out of it one minute, then a few seconds later got a nice B3 sound. This is the perfect blend between a B3 and a 60s combo organ. If this sounds like it's up your alley then check this bad boy out. And if you're thinking about buying Native Instruments B4 you owe it to yourself to try this out first, you'll probably find yourself saving a whole lot of cash.

Well I imagine the preset implementation will be far better upon final release. I think Peter and the boys just didn't want to implement a stack of presets on a beta version. There's a couple of other things I'd like to see added, one of which Peter said would probably be in the first or second update after the official release, and I can wait on that. But as far as the actual sound goes I'm liking this thing more and more. Like I said before it's the perfect mix between a 60s combo and a B3, with the right tweaking you get both kinds of sounds quite easily. I think the biggest misconception about this thing is that it's a Virtual B3 a la NI, but it's really it's own organ, with it's own sound. I actually think a lot of people bought the B4 cause they were looking for a good organ sound, and nothing else was around. Now they have this as an option. Sure if you're kind of a diehard B3 fanatic you might want to spend the extra cash for the B4, but if you're looking for a damn good diverse organ this is probably more up your alley. Plus it just sounds more modern than the B4 does (does everything need to sound vintage). I really think this organ can hold it's own.
