how come there isn't one (I mean a self-contained one no pluggo/reaktor thinggies)

I mean you got subtractive,FM,sampling

I'de pay top dollar for an additive synth(yeah i know about absynth but i want something more...something for the FFT theory

and how about a VSTie using Physical Modelling ?

Do a mac version first ...please ?

common everybody has enough of analogue,Fm and sampling

yeh...oh well, I guess I have no other
choice than getting Absynth...Sub,Fm,additive, PM and freely drawable waveforms

I think it's been said before, but additive synthesis and physical modelling require a hell of a lot of CPU power. For the Mac you want to look at Cellsynth and Metasynth, though it's probably not the kind of thing you have in mind. I can only suggest you look at the hardware market if you want complex additive or Physical modelling. You should be able to pick up a K5 or K5000 fairly cheap, and I think new VL70's can be had for little money.

I don;t think everyone is yet sick of sampling, FM (which has yet to be explored thoroughly) and analogue. On the contrary, hardware and software maunfacturers would hardly keep dishing out the stuff if it didn't sell, whilst, in comparison, esoteric synths and the like just don't make it in todays modern market, because not enough people are interested.
